It is also possible to rent the rink without your staying with us at a cost of 300 CZK/one hour rental.
If you prefer tennis, badminton, cycling or swimming, everything is available in the surroundings of the Apartments Flamenco. The wine cycle tracks in particular can be an interesting adventure to pursue during your holiday (it is possible to book a wine tasting session at any of the local wine cellars). During the hot summer days visit the open air swimming pool in Hustopeče, one of the best in the area. In the winter time you can sky or practice snowboarding just a 15 minute drive away in Nemčičky.
Visit the local wine cellar and the catacombs in Kurdějov
The wine cellar in Kurdějov will surprise you with its friendly and stylish atmosphere and with its fine selection of Moravian wines. Our aim is to offer our visitors wines which proudly reflect the experience and hard work of Moravian wine makers.
This exceptional wine cellar is run by a family with a long wine making tradition. People with their own lands and with vineyards which they have planted themselves and looked after from the very beginning. Their dedication to wine making guarantees that we can offer you wine of the finest quality, which will with no doubt satisfy the most demanding of palates.
Good wine must always be accompanied by good food!
In our menu there are a variety of delicacies, which will improve your wine tasting experience and ensure you have an enjoyable time. Delicious blue cheese, dried goose-breast, chilli stuffed with cheese or pheasant pate with cognac, will satisfy your appetite. Our specialty is chicken steak with grilled blue cheese. This dish has become one of the most popular among our visitors.
We can also offer our guests an exciting adventure by visiting the long and narrow historic catacombs which were part of the defense system of the local gothic church.
Where to go for a trip?
Pálava lakes and Pálava hills
At just a 15 minute drive away there lays an oasis for those interested in fishing and a place renouned for its typical Moravian wine cellars. The hills of Pálava are also famous as a mountain-climbing destination. Its rocky hills are located in a beautiful natural scenery and offer a range of climbing levels.
The region of Lednice-Valtice
In 1996 this region was enlisted for its extraordinary natural and cultural values to the UNESCO World Heritage.
This complex of palaces, minaret, gardens and parks with lakes was built by the Lichtenstein Family between the 17th and 20th centuries. It is today one of the largest artificial landscapes in Europe, renowned for bringing together in harmony cultural monuments and natural elements to create an outstanding work of human creativity.
Mikulov
The town of Mikulov is a monumental reservation since 1952. The dominant point is a baroque chateau that contains historic collections. Between the most interesting are without doubt numerous viticultural expositions. Mikulov is the initial point of wine nature trail, which acquaints the visitors to the Pálava region with the traditions of the Mikulov wine district.
A considerable part of the town history was formed by the Jews. The synagogue with a cemetery reflects the importance of the Jewish culture. The Castle, the Holy Hill or the tower of Kozí hrádek offer a magnificent view of the city. The visit to Mikulov will surely be for a combination of a cultural experience and a pleasant rest with a glass of delicious Moravian wine.
